My intent on blogging then was more personal, as I found writing to be an expressive therapy that provided a safe space, a controlled environment where I can explore personal feelings, thoughts, and experiences without fear of judgement.  I also found inspiration and got empowered by the thousands of stories shared by women about how they thrived post-divorce and separation.  I received support from being part of online communities with shared experiences and interests.
